I wasn't in the play, but I have a lot of friends who were. It's kind of like a walk-thru type thing. It's at the university that I used to attend and will be attending again next year (www.southern.edu).

They do it every year the Saturday before Easter Sunday. I've been several years and it's just incredible. The closing scene (the Resurrection) gets me EVERY time. It's a walk-thru type performance. During the walk you go through Jerusalem and the marketplace. You see Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem and as they ride through the crowd, you raise your palm branches. You watch scenes from the last supper, the garden of gethsemane, the arrest of Jesus and when He's taken before pilot. There are taunters in the crowd yelling "crucify him!" and others weeping in the crowd to make it feel real. The soldiers go around on horseback holding the crowd back and giving people a hard time. Then you see Judas hanging, the crucifixion, and finally the resurrection scene, which takes place in the gym.

It is really so incredible. If you're ever in the Chattanooga, TN area during Easter GO SEE IT. It's free.
